ALIA SEC is an ALIA group dedicated to helping those new to the Library and Information Services industry. This can mean students studying LIS courses and those in the first few years of their LIS career who are still looking for guidance and connections. We’re hoping to provide job hunting advice, professional development tips, and opportunities for networking with both other newbies and more experienced professionals.<\/p>\n

You may have previously been a member of ALIA SNGG- this is the rebranding! We’re still trying to serve the same demographics and provide similar services to our brilliant predecessors, while focusing on what worked best for them and what we can add.<\/p>\n
